We are pleased to announce that we are now carrying a selection of puzzles at Clem’s!

You can play Settlers of Catan a hundred times (and I probably have), but sometimes the gamer in all of us just yearns for the challenge of a good puzzle.  After noticing the large stock of puzzles at many other big-chain outlets that carry board games, I thought it would be a good compliment to the other lines of product that we have at Clem’s.

We have started off with a moderate selection of items from two companies:  White Mountain Puzzles and Buffalo Games.  If you’re really into puzzles, you can check out either of these companies’ websites, and special order any of their puzzles through us.  We’re also looking at some other good puzzles available from a variety of other companies, but we’re going to “test the waters” with these two first, and see what happens.

Are you into Peanuts?  Do you like to do puzzles of cityscapes like New York or Vegas?  Maybe you’re a collector of all things Coke.  If so, you might like the 1000-piece or more puzzles available from Buffalo.  White Mountain sent us a nice variety of puzzles covering famous sports arenas (including Spartan Stadium), along with some fun collage-type of puzzles that touch on areas of pop culture like music, TV & politics. Let us know what you think!! 

We’re also thinking of trying some “puzzle parties” down the line – social events where you can compete with teammates to finish puzzles.  If you’d like to volunteer to run an event like this, please get in touch with us at tom.clemslansing@clemslansing.com.
