One of the sad casualties that occurred when we moved our website to a new host in 2007 (besides the constant downtime, the service interruptions, and the website hacking we were exposed to…. boy, do we miss those!) was the loss of our customer e-mail database. We used to send out regular newsletters every week with comic book news and some great links to blogs, creator homepages, reviews, news, rumors…. you get the idea.

The newsletter wasn’t perfect… a lot of customers couldn’t receive it because of spam blockers, etc., but it was nice if you could get it. When we lost our e-mail distribution list, it hurt. But we’ve been trying to make up for that by introducing a blog to our website to let people know about major news and incoming comic lists. And as of today, we’ve re-established our beloved list of comic links. Both of these pages can be found in the sidemenu to the left.

The links section will be an ongoing project… if you find dead links, blogs that are no longer updated, please let us know and we’ll update our list. Additionally, if you have links that you think should be added… a creator page that we don’t have listed, a great news site that you enjoy, even a blog that you write yourself about comics… we’d love to check it out and maybe add it to our list. So please go check it out… I personally use our links listing as a great jump-off point to get all of my comics news, reviews, etc. If it’s a good tool for your friendly neighborhood retailer, there’s gotta be something in there you’ll find useful!
